How to Apply for a Rental

Step 1: Find a rental that fits

Browse the listings above. Each listing includes photos, features, rent amount, deposit required, pet policy, and the neighborhood or city.

Step 2: Schedule a viewing

Use the contact form on any listing to request a showing. We’ll reach out within one business day to set up a time.

Step 3: Submit an application

Once you’ve seen the property and decided to apply, you can submit an application online. Each adult applicant (18 and older) completes their own application. There’s a non-refundable application fee that covers the cost of screening.

Step 4: Screening and approval

We run credit, criminal background, income verification, and rental history checks. Most screenings complete within two to four business days. We’ll reach out with the result as soon as it’s ready.

Step 5: Sign the lease and move in

Approved applicants sign a Washington-compliant lease, pay first month’s rent and security deposit, and schedule a move-in date. A move-in inspection documents the condition of the property — important protection for both you and the owner.

Most applications are processed within two to four business days. Timing depends largely on how quickly your previous landlords and employer respond to our verification requests. We follow up actively to keep things moving.

Yes. Washington state law protects source of income, which means we evaluate Section 8 voucher holders using the same standard criteria we apply to any other applicant. The voucher amount counts toward the income requirement.
